HOW A TARDES DE CAFÉ AFTERNOON GOES

It starts at 19:00 in the lounge bar, every Wednesday. No booking, no sign-up: if you are inside that afternoon, you are in.

The afternoon opens with the Show de Cañadas, where Pequeña Cañadas — a well-known figure on the Seville drag scene — mixes performances with games and raffles. All kinds of prizes are handed out, sauna passes included.

Then we break for the snacks — free for everyone — and some music. The show closes with our bingo loco.

Meanwhile the rest of the venue runs as usual: you can come down for the show, go back to the jacuzzi and come up again. Nobody will look at you twice for arriving halfway through or leaving before the bingo.

IF IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME AND IT IS A WEDNESDAY

It is probably the best day to start. The show gives you a reason to be somewhere specific at a specific time, which is exactly what tends to be missing for someone walking in for the first time and unsure what to do.

You do not have to take part in anything. You can sit in the lounge, have a drink and watch. The atmosphere is open and most people are watching the stage, not who just walked in.

IT COSTS NOTHING EXTRA

Tardes de Café is included in that day’s admission. On Wednesdays the Monday-to-Thursday afternoon rate applies: €14.50 from 14:00, or €10 if you are under 30 with the Young Rate.

The show, the food, the bingo and the raffles are not charged separately. You come in, and it is already included.

THE SPECIAL EDITIONS

There is no fixed calendar: when a date deserves it, we put on a special edition with guest drag artists. We have done Valentine’s Day, Feria, Pride, back to school in September, Halloween, Christmas… among others.

And a date is not always needed: sometimes we bring in a guest artist on any random Wednesday, for no reason other than throwing a good party.
